I wanna introduce you to DJ Cole Plante! I am so excited to be the lucky one who gets to premiere and share his new song remix "Tetris" with you all!
You may recognize this super talented teen who has taken the music industry by storm - already playing for crowds of thousands at just 16-years-old! And, just maybe you have spotted him in my music video for "The Lucky Ones" - where he appears as the DJ! :)
Now, to help kick off the Tetris Blitz Remix Challenge, Cole has teamed up with Electronic Arts to remix the anthem of one of the world's most famous games! And soon you'll have a chance to submit your own remix of the Tetris theme for the chance to have it appear in the Tetris Blitz mobile game!
“It was a huge honor to be asked by EA to team up for the Tetris Blitz Remix Challenge!”, said Plante. “It's really a dream come true because I'm such an avid gamer and have been a big fan of Tetris for as long as I can remember. When I first started performing as a DJ, I would actually throw the original Tetris theme song into the middle of my sets to catch people’s attention and the crowd would go nuts!”
Check out Cole's remix below and let us know what you think in the comments and on Twitter!
I cry a lot. Equally because of happiness and sadness. I have at least 5 different personalities. Crowds make me anxious unless I'm on stage.
I hear colors, I see sound.
I believe in fairies.
I change my mind in every five minutes.
If I can't write music for more than a couple of days, I loose it.
I make things.
I almost never feel like I belong. I am very uncomfortable having a human experience.
I like bad movies.
I am extremely ambitious.
I'm a foodie.
I love everything that sparkles.
I grew up in the middle of a forest in Estonia.
I believe that love is the most powerful weapon. Not because I'm naive. But because I already tried fighting with everything else and it didn't work.
I can't live without black eyeliner.
Kerli is my real name.
I love one word song titles.
I believe everything happens for a reason. But that everything that happens around us is a reflection of who we are or what we need to learn.
The inside of my suitcase makes the security guards blush.
I try to live from a place of strength, not victimhood.
The most important thing I own is my laptop. If there was a fire and I had to choose between my laptop and my cat, I'd save my laptop. My music = my life is in there.
Sounds Like: something I don't feel like putting in a box
