You hear of people in your life that you think just can't be real, especially when they seem to have a super power that is just not human. Wim Hof is one of those people. If you have never heard the name, he goes by an alter alias called the "Ice Man." Wim is known for being the man to hike Everest in shorts in Winter.
If you're wondering how this is possible without going into Hypothermia, Wim explains how he can control his body temperature by the art of meditation. How awesome right? It seems unbelievable when you first read the story of Wim, but you slowly realize that his dedicated practice of meditation works on his own bodily controls that when he jumps into freezing cold buckets of ice, his body temperature barely drops.
Check out some of these amazing pictures and video of Wim featured as my "Can't Believe You're Human" of this week.
